My local guild, the Cheyenne Heritage Quilters, has invited me to speak about quilt care, “How to Help Your Quilt Live to 100,” at our annual quilt show Saturday, Aug. 19, at 10 a.m. The show is at First United Methodist Church, 108 E. 18th Street, Cheyenne, Wyoming.

The hours of the show, Aug. 17-19, are Thursday, 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.; Friday, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. and Saturday, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Admission is $3.

I’ll be summarizing the major points of the chapters of my eBook, “Quilt Care, Construction and Use Advice,”: Make, Test, Use, Display, Air, Wash, Dry, Store, Appraise, Insure, Ship, Sign.

If you can’t make the talk, look for my book on Amazon. Search my name: Barb Gorges. If you don’t have a reader device of some kind, Amazon has a free reader app you can download for your laptop or desktop computer.
