Pine Bluffs Winter Author’s Festival

I will be at the Pine Bluffs Winter Authors Festival Saturday, December 6, 2025, from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the Pine Bluffs Historic High School, 607 Elm Street. Pine Bluffs, Wyoming, is 40 miles and 40 minutes east of Cheyenne.

I will have copies of all my books:

–Cheyenne Birds by the Month

–Cheyenne Garden Gossip

–The Best of Cheyenne Bird Banter (new)

–Quilt Care, Construction and Use Advice

–Dear Diary (World War I era)

When I’m selling my books in person, I round up the price by 5 cents and include sales tax–giving you a 6 percent discount. I can take cash or checks but not credit cards.

There will be a wide variety of authors from the tri-state area, Nebraska, Colorado and Wyoming.

While you are there, check out the nature trails accessible from the rest area on the south side of the Pine Bluffs I-80 exit rest area.

Cheyenne Local Author Celebration Oct. 11, 2025

The Laramie County Library, 2200 Pioneer Ave., is hosting a new style of local author event Saturday, Oct. 11, 2025. There will be workshops for authors in the morning and a Book Fair from 2 – 4 p.m. to which the public is invited. It will feature nearly two dozen Cheyenne authors of many genres–fantasy, romance, history, self-help, children’s books, etc.

I will have copies for sale of my newest book, The Best of Cheyenne Bird Banter ($24, see link for local and online availability and coverage by the Wyoming Tribune Eagle, https://cheyennebirdbanter.wordpress.com/2025/09/26/the-best-of-cheyenne-bird-banter/). I can take checks and cash.

And I’ll also have:

Local authors at library Oct. 22

Laramie County Library is featuring a “Local Author Celebration” this Saturday, Oct. 22, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Cottonwood Room at the library, 2200 Pioneer Ave., Cheyenne, Wyoming.

I will be there from 1 – 5 p.m., selling copies of all of my books including “Quilt Care, Construction and Use Advice,” “Cheyenne Birds by the Month” and “Cheyenne Garden Gossip.” And I’ll have a pen if you want them signed.

There will be 27 local authors besides me including some of my favorites: Bob Budd, Karen Cotton, Mary Gillgannon, Ann Muirhead, Michael T. Shay.

Half of the authors will be there from 10-1 and half from 1-5, so come from 12 to 2 and catch all of us!

This year the library is partnering with Arts Cheyenne for the Cheyenne Arts Celebration “to celebrate a large and diverse collective of local artists.”

Make a day of it–get your lunch or snack at the Library Cafe! The entire event closes at 4 p.m.
